Birds Bookstore is a 1,900-square-foot commercial remodel in Dallas, Texas, completed by Synergy Commercial Construction. Working with architects from ID Studio 4, the project focused on creating a thoughtfully planned space with that felt like an old cozy bookstore but with modern craftmanship. The completed bookstore combines warm wood finishes with functional layouts that encourage visitors to browse, gather, and spend time exploring the space.
This commercial construction project included a complete interior remodel featuring custom wood wall panels, built-in shelving, curved bookcases, display fixtures, integrated lighting, and carefully coordinated finish details throughout the store. One of the most recognizable features is the circular library space with floor-to-ceiling shelving and a rolling ladder, providing both functionality and a memorable focal point for customers. The remodel also includes a welcoming storefront, outdoor seating, a café service area, and comfortable reading spaces that complement the bookstore experience.
