Georgetown, TX
(2) 15,000 gal storage tanks
Demo & Reconstruction
CDS Muery
The City of Georgetown Fuel Farm was a ground-up infrastructure replacement that began with tearing out aging underground fuel tanks and ended with a fully operational fueling facility built to handle the daily demands of Georgetown’s municipal fleet. Synergy Commercial Construction partnered with CDS Muery on the site redevelopment, taking on everything from earthwork and concrete reconstruction to the installation of two 15,000-gallon above ground storage tanks. A new fuel island with canopy coverage went in alongside the full distribution infrastructure needed to keep vehicles moving in and out efficiently. Upgraded site paving, utility coordination, and an industrialized electrical kiosk with a backup emergency generator rounded out the scope.
Aerial views of the finished site tell the real story — the layout reflects a lot of deliberate decision-making around traffic flow, equipment placement, utility access, and long-term usability. None of that happens by accident on a project this layered. Transitioning from underground to above ground fuel storage isn’t a straightforward swap. It takes careful sequencing between trades, active attention to site organization, and a commitment to keeping operations clean and safe from the first day of demo to the last walk-through. For Synergy, the priority throughout was simple: build something that works. The finished fuel farm gives Georgetown a reliable, low-maintenance fueling solution that the city’s equipment and vehicle fleets can count on for the long haul.
