Williamson County Children's Advocacy Center

The Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center remodel in Georgetown, TX, was a full interior renovation of a 2500 square foot, pre-existing commercial office facility. Synergy Commercial Construction organized the design and build aspects of the remodel in partnership with Moman Design to better serve the purposes of both staff and clients/visitors in creating a functionally warm and inviting atmosphere while still fulfilling all of the operational requirements as a community-focused organization.

The scope of work for this remodel included new floor covering; replacement ceiling finishes; painting and finishing of walls and ceilings; as well as installation of drywall throughout the facility. This remodel has provided a much more usable and flowing experience through-out the different working areas within the facility. In addition, many of these changes are visually evident such as new collaboration/meeting areas; newly renovated office spaces; a redesign of the reception/lounge area; and new training rooms that support ongoing program development and operation for daily activities and community-based programming.

Improvements made to the reception and lobby include improvements to lighting conditions; updates to finishes (new furniture); and new open gathering spaces that create a positive first impression upon entering the facility while continuing to maintain its functionality. Remodeling conference/classroom-type rooms allowed for staff meetings/presentations/trainings to be held in a professional setting, while providing private offices and quiet seating areas for staff to use during their workday. Additionally, exterior updates to and refreshes of entranceways have enhanced the visual appeal of the property itself.
